  • Asteroid occults star: 2006-03-26 23:18:23 MST - thanks to Joe Gafford for link and info:

    Asteroid 273 Atropos will occult 8.5 mag. star HIP 30792 with the centerline going through the "Cactus Flats" site.  There will be a magnitude drop of 7.0.  The centerline also goes through northern Ft. Collins, Briggsdale, and Sterling.  Elev: 15 deg. Az: 268 (near dead west).  This will only be a 1.7 second maximum event, but the drop in magnitude is great.

  • Comet Pojmanski: Finder chart for low in southeast in pre-dawn sky
